Prominent venture capital firm Khosla Ventures is breaking with decades of tradition by opening its first-ever office outside of Silicon Valley. Firm partner Keith Rabois announced that the new outpost will be established in New York City, with doors expected to open this coming fall on 14th Street.
Beyond traditional workspace, the New York office will feature a dedicated executive briefing center designed to regularly connect the firm’s portfolio startups with major Fortune 500 corporations. This initiative aims to accelerate commercial pilots and customer acquisition for emerging companies in a vibrant, interactive setting.
The expansion aligns with broader shifts in the tech landscape, as New York continues to grow as a major hub for technical talent and artificial intelligence innovation, increasingly rivaling traditional West Coast strongholds like the San Francisco Bay Area.
