British AI cloud infrastructure provider Nscale has secured $3.36 billion in convertible financing ahead of its upcoming initial public offering in the United States later this year. The substantial funding round was led by hedge fund Third Point.
The financing package includes $2.36 billion available immediately, along with an additional $1 billion from existing investor Nvidia, scheduled to arrive in mid-November. The company’s valuation during its upcoming NYSE debut is projected to reach $35 billion.
Having spun out from Arkon Energy two years ago, Nscale has accumulated over $103 billion in contracts. The firm is currently advancing the construction of major data center campuses in Norway and West Virginia to support heavy AI workloads.
