Tesla has secured $30 billion in new credit lines aimed at supporting the large-scale manufacturing of its upcoming next-generation products. Regulatory filings reveal that the funding package includes agreements with major financial institutions such as Citibank and Wells Fargo.

The capital is intended to back the development and infrastructure required for the Cybercab robotaxi, the Optimus humanoid robot, and the Tesla Semi truck. The automaker noted in its disclosures that it does not plan to draw from these credit facilities during the current year.

This financial maneuver bolsters the company’s robust balance sheet as it transitions heavily into robotics and autonomous mobility. With significant capital expenditures projected, the fresh credit lines provide a strong financial safety net for future scaling.

  • Secured $30 billion in credit facilities from major banks.
  • Funds targeted at scaling production for Cybercab, Optimus, and Semi.
  • No immediate drawdowns planned for the current year.
  • Reinforces financial positioning for heavy capital investments.
