EcoFlow has unveiled its fourth-generation River series of portable power stations, delivering significantly higher energy density within much smaller and lighter physical footprints. The lineup introduces the River 260 Gen4 with a 256Wh capacity and the larger River 520 Gen4 packing 512Wh, making them ideal companions for outdoor adventures, weekend camping trips, or emergency backup power.
Both units utilize long-lasting LFP battery chemistry for enhanced safety and durability, alongside a state-of-the-art 140W bidirectional USB-C PD3.1 port that eliminates the need for bulky charging bricks. Furthermore, they double as reliable uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for computers with a fast cutover time of under 10 milliseconds, while minimizing internal power conversion losses to keep your devices running longer.
European availability is slated to begin with the River 260 Gen4 in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by the River 520 Gen4 in early 2027. Official pricing details will be released closer to their respective global launch windows.
