Controversial alt-right figure and Gamergate personality Milo Yiannopoulos has been arrested by US immigration enforcement (ICE) and deported back to the United Kingdom. The enforcement action follows an investigation revealing he overstayed his visa and failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing.
Once a prominent editor at Breitbart and a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, Yiannopoulos built a career on online controversy and harassment campaigns. In recent years, however, his extreme rhetoric led to a falling out with major figures on the American political right.
